Hubdoc Ownership Terms
March 18, 2020
Before you start using Hubdoc, you’ll need to look through and accept these ownership terms (Ownership Terms). Any use of Hubdoc is further governed by Hubdoc’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. These Ownership Terms are incorporated into Hubdoc’s Terms of Use and only apply to new Hubdoc organizations created on or after March 18, 2020 that are included with a Xero plan and connected (at any point in time) to the relevant Xero organization. When we say you or your, we mean both you and any entity or firm you’re authorized to represent. If you’re wondering what some of the words used in these Ownership Terms mean, you can take a look at the definitions in Hubdoc’s Terms of Use.
These are your legal rights and obligations, so please do read everything. If you can’t agree to these Ownership Terms, then you can’t use the Service.
  1. You agree that the owner of the new Hubdoc organization is the subscriber of the connected Xero organization (the Subscriber). As owner, the Subscriber has ultimate control over how the Hubdoc organization is managed and who can access it (even if the Hubdoc organization is later disconnected from the Xero organization, unless the Subscriber consents to a transfer of ownership).
  2. You agree that you’re authorized to act on behalf of the Subscriber and can legally bind the Subscriber to, among other things, these Ownership Terms and Hubdoc’s Terms of Use.
  3. If we change these Ownership Terms, we’ll make every effort to let you know. Generally, we endeavor to provide you with 30 calendar days notice of material changes before they become effective, unless we need to make immediate changes for reasons we don’t have control over. When we notify you, we’ll do it by email or by posting a visible notice through the Service. If a change to these Ownership Terms isn’t material, we may not notify you.
  4. In the case of any conflict between these Ownership Terms and Hubdoc’s Terms of Use, these Ownership Terms will take priority.
You’ve made it to the end. Thanks for reading these Ownership Terms!
